Since our wedding is at the beginning of a holiday weekend, we encourage any out-of-towners to stay and play through Monday! The San Francisco Bay Area is a fabulous place to explore and enjoy (although, sadly, the San Francisco Giants are on the road). Below are just a few suggestions, including some of our favorite spots/activities:

- Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk

- The Mystery Spot

- Big Basin Redwoods State Park

- Vasona Park and Downtown Los Gatos

- The Tech Museum

- The Winchester Mystery House

- Alcatraz

- Fisherman's Wharf

- Golden Gate Park and the de Young Museum

- The Palace of Fine Arts and the Exploratorium

- Alamo Square, San Francisco and the "Painted Ladies" (Try to find the "Shoe Park" in Alamo Square!)

- Crissy Field

- San Francisco Museum of Modern Art

- Walk or bike across the Golden Gate Bridge

- Local Wineries:
The Mountain Winery
Cooper-Garrod Estate Vineyards

- Or, if you have some extra time, go a little further NORTH towards...
Muir Woods

- Or a little further EAST towards...

- Or a little further SOUTH towards...
The Monterrey Bay Aquarium
17-Mile Drive (a scenic drive along the coast)

- The San Francisco Carnaval will be happening May 28-29
